I have to disagree, I hate this style of filming and editing, you don’t need that many establishing shots and whats with the attempt to make it seem like something amazing has happened or that something big was accomplished, its like all those programs you see like Colleens Real Women. Utter Tripe.
I miss the days of videos where you just had riding, back to back no shitty little interviews with dumbarse riders who have nothing to say, I don’t give a fuck who these people are or what their hopes and aspirations are or what they are like drunk I only want to see them ride.
Otherwise the riding in the video was sick.

This is one of the best BMX videos i have watched. It would be a shame to waste such amazing footage with a poor minute made edit.

Yeh JAMES is entitled to his own opinion but seriously do you not get bored of watching the same style edits all the time with all the same riding, filmed from the same angles, with the same fisheye effect at the same location?
Something amazing did happen there thats why it’s filmed like that. Who else could ride that thing like Bas? Look at that thing, imagine the dust coming off it when you ride towards it and i bet it’s not a perfect transition. Also every brick probably doesn’t sit perfectly so it must be horrid compared to a vert ramp and fuck being pulled by a motorbike!
I don’t understand why you wouldn’t want to know whats going through the head of these riders and see what they have to say. I think it was perfectly executed by Edd Allen. I wish i could make something like this and it’s what i aspire to make!
Please lets make BMX more like this. Having more than just BMX in an edit is awesome.

The thing is a hell of a lot of edits like this.
I’m up for change but I’m just a little bored of this wank fest, how long will it be before Bas airs a massive transition with (insert BMXer here) sitting at the foot of the ramp beating one out over just how amazing it was, climaxing as he lands and rolls past him.
Enough slow mos, enough high fives, enough male bonding on video its sickening and not the kind that is used in shitty BMX slang.
Im sorry also but Bas is not the most interesting of riders Ive ever seen in interviews, take the 1st Roundabout DVD…Christ he talks absolute shit that isn’t remotely interesting.
Ok I may of overlooked how epic and impressive this is but the amount of establishing shots makes it feel like a shitty 90s sitcom. Yeah its great he aired well high but it isn’t relative to how it is being portrayed.
The choice of music in a lot of these videos is poor also.
Obviously this is all subjective and everyone has their own opinion and I can see why people may like this but I simply do not. But I also recognise how most people on here are probably between 13-19 and cum in their pants everytime they see Dan Lacey do a bar spin or Bas Keep air.

im finding street a bit boring after watchin so many edits on it, but this steet was reaaal goood. sickest front cover i’ve ever seen!! the edit was amazing to watch, didnt feel like 8 minutes cause the build up was so good!!
