A Morning with Scott Hamlin
We’re in the dead of the English winter, it rains practically every day. So what does that mean for riders? We’re into hibernation! The UK’s indoor skateparks will be thriving from now until early next spring and so what better way to kick off our skatepark season than with one of the UK’s most enthusiastic riders; Scott Hamlin.
Scott’s personality can be summed up pretty easily, he’s a rider who just likes to ride. So much so that he actually lives in a warehouse as close to the skatepark as possible. He’s not interested in doing what’s cool, he likes tricks and isn’t afraid to throw them down. We shot this video at 7am on a very cold Saturday morning in Newport at Skate Extreme. Scott might have overslept slightly leaving me waiting outside in the car, but then he didn’t even get to bed until 3am – he was up ironing some shirts…

Thanks guys for the comments, I didnt think Rob got enought footage to show my riding but what he has put together has really impressed me..Apologies for the dog leg tailwhips but as youll notice my hospital band I had just come out the hospital with damaged ligaments so I couldnt pump for shit also hence the bitch cranks between boxes…Working with Robin Fenlon is such an honour tho
