A Day With: James Ivett
Robin Fenlon spent a day at Basingstoke skatepark with Mongoose rider James Ivett. Then after a sunny session they nipped off to hit a couple of street jibs before the sun went down. The days are definitely getting shorter.
And you thought Robin Fenlon was gone forever…

Did you say “Nailed it!” in the vid cus I did’nt hear it?
I tell everyone that I used to live with this guy! OOOOW LUCKY ME!

Incredible, Everytime you see James he has learnt a group of new tricks wich totally refresh his riding, And that is a really unique thing in bmx these days; It looks like he is a really hang fivey barspin chap but when I first met him he was a really tailwhipy toothpick styled rider. Proud does not cover how stoked I am to watch this.

I have mixed feelings about this video, the riding is seriously good, but i didnt really like the way the video was put together. I feel that a lot of the footage is overexposed and it stopped me from enjoying the video as much. I also thought the 30 second long hang 5 was a bit unnecessary, it was obvious that he had massive control over them, i would find a much shorter hang 5 just as impressive as a stupidly long one.
The guy is really good, I dont like to be negative, but thats just how i feel.

Like you say Jimmy, I guess it’s a matter of taste cos I really like the colour/lighting on this, it really fits with the chilled feel to the edit.
